Fundamental phytopathology

This manual is devoted to the presentation of the most important problems of modern phytopathology, primarily --- molecular aspects of the relationship between plants and their parasites. Molecular studies of the mechanisms of phytoimmunitis have made it possible to find general channels for the evolution of immunity in plants, invertebrates and vertebrates and argue the presence of a general theory of immunity. Molecular studies also showed that the receptor mechanisms and signal transduction of plants that lead to parasitism or symbiosis are based on, there are no fundamental differences. Finally, molecular studies of the interactions of parasites and plants led to the creation of a new generation of chemical plant protection products --- environmentally safe, non-specific and persistent. All these issues are in the spotlight of the book. In addition, individual chapters are devoted to modern methods of diagnosis of plant diseases, which are also widely used in the diagnosis of animal and humans, the common reaction of the supersensitivity of plants and animal apoptosis, the environmental aspects of plant diseases (the latest data indicate that no biocenosis can stably exist stably without parasites ) and other issues.
