Free trade zone EAES-Vietnam. Primary analysis of the effects of trade integration. Monograph

In the monograph prepared by the team of the authors of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Higher School of Economics and the Vietnam Academy of Economics, the key problems of the development of economic relations of the EAEU and the SVR were identified. It states that an agreement on free trade between EAEU members and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, even during a short period of functioning, made it possible to deepen the interaction in almost all areas that are the subject of interaction. A comparative assessment of different types of free trade agreements has been carried out. The problems that interfere with the intensification of interaction between the EAEU and Vietnam in the fields of trade, direct foreign investment, intellectual property, tourism and regulation of migration flows were identified, legal analysis of the articles of the agreement was carried out. Evaluation of the efficiency of the free trade zone EAES-Vietnam using a gravitational model. The main recommendations for the strengthening of interstate partnership under the current agreement have been formulated.
