Experimental Physics. 8th grade. Educational and methodical manual

The book tells about the experience of conducting experimental (laboratory) work with students" Olympiad School at the MIPT at the course of “Experimental Physics”, in which the author of the book led classes with students of the 8th grade for several years. Most of the works considered in the book were described in detail in a series of articles published by the author (employee of the laboratory for working with gifted children"s children) in the journal for schoolchildren and teachers "potential".
The book was not written in the spirit of a classic laboratory workshop - with detailed instructions, what and in what order to do. The author considered it important to convey the living atmosphere during laboratory work.
Schoolchildren were not supposed to be special mathematical training.
Starting a new topic, brief theoretical introduction was made. Conducting the actual laboratory work was preceded by "theoretical training" also in the form of solving problems. In most cases, the solution of problems also accompanied the delivery of laboratory work. The tasks were not super -huddled, but certainly with a practical bias.
