Experimental Olympic physics problems

Olympiads are one of the most common and interesting types of extracurricular work in physics. They increase students" interest in the subject, help to more deeply assimilate theory and get acquainted with the use of physical laws in life.
Olympiad tasks in the collection are located in accordance with the sections of the school course of physics: mechanics, pressure of liquids and gases, molecular physics and thermal phenomena, electrodynamics, vibrations and waves, optics.
Basically, the tasks are designed for students of the VIII-X classes, however, some of them are available for the most prepared students of the VII class. Particularly difficult tasks are given to decisions and the necessary instructions.
A separate chapter collects tasks that can be used by students for independent work.
A number of tasks are combined into the “Physics around” section, and these tasks are not only experimental, but also theoretical, of those that are found in life.
The publication will be useful to teachers and students in preparation for the physics Olympics, can be used by teachers to work in physical circles and in optional classes
