Excited states in polymer chemistry

The concept of thermal electronic excitement in elementary chemical acts is imposed in relation to the synthesis reactions and the transformation of polymers and to the reactions of related low molecular weight compounds. The nature of electronic states with low energy (<1 EV) is considered and their universal distribution in polymer organic chemistry is shown. From a new point of view, thermochemical reactions of the three main types are analyzed: 1) reactions of the transfer of hydrogen atom, 2) ion reactions and 3) radical reactions. A special section of the book is devoted to catalytic reactions that give a new interpretation in terms of excited reactionary states. A noticeable specific gravity in the book occupies quantum-chemical calculations of activation energy and spin populists, which are used to predict the speed of the reaction and structure of the product. The fruitfulness of the developed approach is indicated in comparison with the traditional transitional method.
