Environmental Chemistry. Textbook

The publication discusses the problems of agric fruit chemistry against the background of descriptions of natural geochemical and biogeochemical processes. Modern views on the origin of chemical elements, the emergence of the Earth and its biosphere, the elemental composition of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere are given. The main pollutants (hydrocarbons, heavy metals, pesticides, detergents), ways to enter the environment and behavior in it are characterized. In addition to toxic pollution, radiation pollution and the consequences of atmospheric contamination are considered: acid rains, destruction of the ozone layer and greenhouse effect.
At the end of each chapter, control issues and tasks of the chemistry of the agrosfer are given, which contributes to a deeper understanding and effective assimilation of the material.
