In their book "End of ownership: personal property in the digital economy" Aaron Rizanovsky and Jason Schulz carefully study how the concept of property has changed in the era of the digital economy, and give arguments in favor of personal property. Of course, electronic books, cloud storage facilities, streaming services and other digital market offers provide consumers with convenient and flexible opportunities. But the authors warn that consumers should clearly understand that there are proposals that often limit the consumer in the conditions of use, personal space and possession as a whole. Razanovsky and Schulz insist that the introduction of aspects of personal property and ownership from the material environment into digital will be legally and economically useful. But, most importantly, this will help us confirm the understanding of our own autonomy. After all, if we own our purchases, we are free to do with them everything that will please, without going beyond the law, of course. And technology should not limit us in this freedom - they, on the contrary, should expand our capabilities
