The textbook contains a systematic presentation of the basics of economy metrics and is written on the basis of lectures that the authors gave over the years in the Russian Economic School and the Higher School of Economics. Linear regression models (the method of the smallest squares, testing hypotheses, heteroquaticity, autoro -correction of errors, model specification are studied in detail) are studied. Separate chapters are devoted to the systems of simultaneous equations, the method of maximum credibility in regression models, models with discrete, censored and cut variables. The chapter "Panel Data" complements the book to a full list of topics traditionally included in modern basic economies. The chapters of "Preliminary Testing" and "Economics of Financial Markets" will be useful to those who are interested in the theoretical and applied aspects of economics. The exercises with real data available for the reader on the website are included.
