Aims at the formation of the idea of the significance, tasks and essence of the social and environmental analysis of the activities of economic entities. A review of economic, social and environmental indicators of the activities of economic entities and methods of their application to analyze the conditions of sustainable development is presented. The concept of sustainable development of economic entities and its use in Russian and foreign analytical practice are revealed. The tools for analyzing social and environmental indicators are proposed, reflected in the sustainability of the development of an economic entity.
