Discrete Mathematics and Informatics. Textbook

The material of the textbook is arranged so that, on the one hand, to give topics for practical classes, to introduce students to important ideas with simple examples, to give them the opportunity to master the necessary computing techniques, the algorithms discussed, and on the other hand, consistently and evidence -based material, to state theoretical material, which can be meaningful at different levels of formalism and not necessarily when reading the textbook.
The textbook is built on the basis of mathematical ideas known from the course of secondary school. These ideas are quite diverse to interest people with various interests and various mathematical training.
The ideas discussed in the textbook quickly lead to interesting applications of mathematical theory to practice, it becomes possible to experiment with them from the first months of study at the university. These experiments with applied algorithms can be implemented in a course of computer science and programming, usually read in parallel with the course of discrete mathematics, or in the individual work of students.
The textbook will be useful to students of technical universities specializing in the direction of "Informatics"
