The doctrine of Swedenborg is considered by the author as a characteristic example of converging of a natural-scientific and religious attitude. Having been engaged in science all his life, and being deeply believers, Swedenborg could not help but think out the Christian teaching in a scientific manner, which, in the end, resulted in the construction of the original esoteric teaching. The author who has extensive experience in the study of esoteric teachings analyzes the prerequisites and epistemological sources of the teachings of the Swedenborg, as well as the features of his work in this area. Such an analysis allows you to revise the traditional understanding of the ratio of science and religion (esotericism), pointing out cases of their intersection of the occurrence.
The book is addressed to a wide range of readers --- scientists, teachers, students, everyone who is interested in science and spiritual experience
