The various shocks are considered that the US economy has encountered in the most acute phases of the Covid-19 pandemia, the influence of quarantine measures on the dynamics of supply and demand in the markets of goods and services. Key legislative and regulatory measures of the federal authorities in the line of fiscal and monetary policy are evaluated, aimed at overcoming the short-term and medium-term negative effects generated by the “Covid Resting” both for the American economy as a whole and for its individual industries and institutions. The impact of pandemia on the dynamics of US GDP, the financial market, the structure of employment and unemployment, the dynamics of current household income and other macroeconomic indicators are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the consideration of the influence of the factor of uncertainty on decision -making along the entire managerial vertical in the situation of exogenous shock generated by pandemia, as well as the study of the trajectory according to which the American economy is moving in 2021–2022
