The textbook is an original publication and has no analogues among the literature in chemistry used in the educational process of technical universities and universities. In terms of content and structure, the book is the totality of a textbook, task and workshop and consists of three sections. The first is devoted to modern issues of the classification, structure, production and purification of metals. In the second section, the main physical and chemical properties of metals are considered. The third section contains material covering alloys and solutions in metal systems.
