The training manual presents the introduction to the theory of intelligence information on the basis of famous literary sources and historical events. The main elements of the economic intelligence and counterintelligence system of the enterprise are given. Legal competitive intelligence methods using available Internet resources, information obtained from the media, as well as by searching in databases and files, are examined in detail. Differences in industrial espionage and legal ways of obtaining information have been identified, liability is indicated for the illegal receipt and disclosure of information in accordance with Art. 183 of the Criminal Code.
