Biotechnology: Textbook

The biotechnology textbook is compiled in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard (Speciality level) in the field of training 33.05.01 "Pharmacy" and the work program of the educational discipline "Biotechnology".
The book in the light of modern representations sets out the foundations of industrial biotechnology, cellular and genetic engineering, engineering enzymology. Particular attention is paid to the processes of obtaining medicines with biotechnological methods. Technologies for the production of various classes of biologically active substances, such as antibiotics, therapeutic recombinant proteins, enzymes, vitamins, hormones, etc. have been examined in detail.
