Biological effects of electromagnetic fields. Monograph

In a monograph based on the use of literary information and materials of the author’s research, systematization of influence on biological objects of different levels of complexity of natural and anthropogenic electric fields was undertaken. The origin of cosmic and earthly magnetism is described and analyzes the influence of this factor on the physiological state, viability and development of plant and animal objects. The biological effects of magnetic storms are investigated. The mechanisms of generation, perception and use of electric fields in the alarm and spatial orientation of animals are analyzed. A large place is given to the analysis of specific reactions of animals to electromagnetic fields. The prospects for using electromagnetic fields are considered to control animal behavior and directed effects on the growth processes of plant objects.
