This fascinating and informative book begins with the personal story of the author, which ultimately predetermined his current profession. Speaking of a person’s inner life, the connection of the attitude of mentally ill and healthy people with mythology, culture, ideology, social models of behavior and political practices, the author goes on topics that have long been exciting writers, scientists and thinkers. In the extensive list of scientific concepts and research presented in the book, the concept of autistic thinking of Blailer and the theory of building the movements of Bernstein, their Melia considers the concept of the social teacher’s work. It is on the basis of human movements that Melia builds its typology of psychiatric images, highlighting 16 superheroes that we can all see in our everyday life, and the author also meets among our wards - children and adults with problems of social adaptation. For clarity, all superheroes are illustrated by famous people - public figures, film artists - those for whom we can watch with the author, agreeing or disagreeing with him. There is no mysticism and pathos in the book, leading the reader to a high level of generalizations, the author retains a delicate and sincere intonation, inviting us to an equal and trusting dialogue
