In this book we are talking about the future of the mind and how our ideas about ourselves, about mind and about our own nature can change the future - for the better or for the worst. It has two central storylines: one is the thoughts that the second is, the second is a warning that the inability to think through the philosophical consequences of creating artificial intelligence can put an end to further prosperity of creatures with consciousness. The author is trying to find answers to questions: can cars have consciousness and can a person merge with artificial intelligence in order to expand his capabilities?
