The textbook sets out the basic concepts and definitions, mathematical and physical foundations of reliability theory, describes the processes leading to the failures of various technical systems, methods of modeling, calculating and predicting the characteristics of the reliability of technological systems and their elements in the design, manufacture and operation, methods Increased reliability, methods of experimental research and control tests. Particular attention is paid to potentially dangerous objects, the failures of which can pose a threat to human life and health, the state of the environment, and great economic damage. An extensive glossary is given (more than 800 concepts and definitions) Applications contain reference materials for research and reliability calculations.
The second part of the textbook describes the main methods for calculating the structural reliability of technical systems, methods of modeling, calculating and predicting the reliability of technical objects in the design, operation, maintenance and repair.
The textbook is intended primarily for students of the magistracy in the field of training Technosphere Security. It can be useful to students of other technical specialties and areas of preparation of undergraduate, specialty and magistracy in the study of the courses “Reliability of Technical Systems and Technogenic Risk”, “Technologian Safety”, “Life Safety”, “Noksology” and “Cross-Cologies” and others , special courses for the design and operation of individual types of equipment, as well as engineering and technical workers for advanced training, calculations and predicting the reliability and safety of various technical systems in design, testing and operation
