Applied chemistry. Tutorial

The first chapter of the training manual presents the main sections of organic chemistry: structural theory of A.M. Butlerov, the nomenclature of organic compounds, the classification of organic reactions. Separate classes of hydrocarbons, oxygen and nitrogen-containing organic substances are considered. A special emphasis is on the use of these classes of organic compounds in the production of consumer goods. The second chapter describes surface phenomena, various dispersed systems, as well as high molecular weight compounds and their solutions. The main theoretical provisions of physical and colloid chemistry are set out. Theoretical material is illustrated by examples of physicochemical processes that occur at various stages of the life cycle of consumer goods. Questions and tasks for self -control are given.
