The book continues and completes the topic that has begun in monographs “Anthropology of Technology: Formation” (M.: URSS) and “Anthropology of Technology: Problems, approaches, Prospects” (M.: URSS) They showed how philosophy during the analysis of technology and technogenic society came to the need to explore the opposite effect of technology on a person - a change in cultural norms and social relations at different stages of technological progress.
This book discusses the features of technical rationality, which currently displaces other methods of perception of the world, the axioms of the technical reason are distinguished and their manifestations are traced in areas far from technical activity. New philosophical approaches to the analysis of techniques that reject these axioms are proposed, which helps to formulate new views on the essence of technology and develop new methods for solving the problems of technogenic society.
The book is intended for philosophers and scientists working in the field of anthropology and social assessment of technology, as well as teachers and students of technical universities
