This book is not just about the cost, it is about the "principles" of the new political economic theory. The author seeks to explain what the cost really is, to reveal it, in a sense, an ideal essence. The book proposes a substantiation of the erroneity of the concept of surplus value, the misconception of the Marxist theory is revealed regarding the unconditional equivalence of commodity exchange, and also explains the fallacy of the interpretation of the price, as an expression of the labor value of the goods. An attempt is made to explain such a common conceptual error that labor creates a value more than it costs. The tendentiousness of the theory of demand and supply and the related concept of free prices is also revealed. In other words, the author makes an attempt to reveal the systemic mistakes made in the past, which today distort the real picture of economic relations and make various historically established approaches to economic reality incompatible
