The cycle of books prepared by a team of authors from St. Petersburg University contains the most important sections of modern analytical chemistry. This textbook is devoted to the methods of separation used in analytical chemistry and created on their basis hybrid methods of analysis - methods in which the methods of separation and methods for determining the separated substances are combined in one analytical procedure.
Consideration of individual methods of separation and concentration of analytes, their general classification is pre -classified, and the consideration of methods within the framework of individual groups distinguished according to this classification begins with intra -group classifications, which allows you to easily navigate in all the variety of separation methods, to see the relationship between them and the approaches to the choice of adequate solutions to various analytical problems.
The hybrid methods considered in this book include primarily chromatographic and mass spectral methods, which are currently one of the main methods of chemical analysis. Here, considerable attention is also paid to the systematization of methods and the general physical and chemical laws that underlie the proposed classification schemes. At the same time, accents between chromatographic separation methods and chromatographic methods of analysis are clearly placed. The feasibility of the release of mass spectrometry from the section on spectral methods, and its consideration in the section on hybrid methods, is substantiated.
The textbook is designed for students studying according to specialty programs, magistrates and graduate schools of training areas and specialties included in the UGC: chemistry and chemical technologies. The book will also be useful to master and graduate students specializing in the field of analytical chemistry.
2nd edition, stereotypical
