Accelerating and vortex laser beams

The book is dedicated to unusual laser beams that can be formed in practice using a liquid crystalline light modulator. New, open after 2013, vortex and accelerating laser beams, the first of which have an orbital angular moment, and the latter spread along curved trajectories. Examples of accelerating beams are given. These are Aryi two -dimensional bundles that spread in square and hyperbolic trajectories. It is shown how to transform the slow -down bundles into accelerating. Laser bundles with sharp self -focus are considered, when the diameter of the bundle when approaching the focus is not linearly, but quadratic. Examples of new vortex laser bundles are examined in detail: parakisal (asymmetric bunches of Laiger - Gauss and Bessel - Gauss, vortex elliptical bundles of Ermita - Gauss), Non -Paraxial (asymmetric bundles of Bessel, Lommel fashion), vector good bunches of Hankel. In asymmetric and elliptical vortex bundles, the orbital angular moment is fractional and continuously increases with an increase in the parameter of asymmetry and ellipticality.
