A short course of theoretical inorganic chemistry. Tutorial. Grif UMO universities of the Russian Federation

It was admitted to the federal UMO in the system of higher education for the enlarged group of specialties and areas of training “Chemistry” as a training manual for students in the basic educational programs of higher education levels of undergraduate, magistracy and specialty. In an accessible form, modern ideas about the structure of atoms and molecules, the properties of solutions of non -electrolytes and electrolytes are considered, the main sections of the theory of chemical processes (thermochemistry, chemical balance, kinetics) are set out. More details than in textbooks on general and inorganic chemistry, the foundations of electrochemical thermodynamics and their applications to thermodynamic stability of metals in aggressive media and the stability of aqueous solutions are given. Briefly, at the modern scientific level, the basics of physico-chemical analysis and the features of heterogeneous equilibrium in one-component and two-component systems are presented. The presentation of many issues is supplemented by solving problems of different levels of complexity. For junior students of chemical, biological, soil and pharmaceutical faculties of universities, as well as for faculties of pedagogical, chemical, technological and technical universities.
