The tasks in the notebook are organized thematically and aimed at developing speech, forming and developing counting skills, sound analysis of words, and developing reading skills. Completing the tasks will contribute to the development of attention, memory, thinking, imagination, fine motor skills; the engaging nature of the tasks will increase interest in learning activities. The manual includes additional tasks and exercises of increased complexity, marked with '*', aimed at implementing a person-centered approach.
The notebook can be used by primary school teachers, preschool educators when organizing classes to prepare for school education either separately or in conjunction with the manual 'Preparing for School: Thematic Lesson Plans'. It can also be recommended to parents interested in successful preparation of future first graders.
