The methodology by L.V. Romanova is aimed at anyone who wants to learn how to sing, including those without a musical education. The methodology combines two separate aspects of learning into a unified system - training of the respiratory muscles, articulatory apparatus, and formation of vocal sound. The author of the book, an experienced teacher with extensive stage practice, successfully works not only with students who have good vocal abilities but also with those who have partially uncoordinated hearing and vocal cords, lack a sense of rhythm, and have poor diction. Special, simple vocal-breathing exercises were selected to work with such "difficult" students, and this methodology is based on them. The educational manual comes with a video disc featuring the author's lessons with students and instrumental versions of the exercises. 6th edition, stereotyped.
