The book includes two works, the authors of which from close positions, but from different parties they turn to historical and archaeological data, information from mythology and folklore, as well as other areas of knowledge, consider issues of various types of sacred places in the Russian pagan tradition. Special attention is paid to the tips on the choice, the device of the sacred place and independent work with the tree in the manufacture of the "of the augant pillars". This makes a book a kind of methodological manual, but does not deprive it and purely cognitive interest. It will find something new as those who have long considered themselves to follow the followers of the original Russian custom and people who just open it for themselves
