"The Sacred Craft" is a book compiled from texts written over 45 years. They are dedicated to the great thinkers and poets of the 20th century, such as Vyacheslav Ivanov, Mikhail Gershenzon, Alexander Blok, Semen Frank, Nikolai Berdyaev, Yakov Golosovker, Martin Heidegger, and others. They were distinguished by various callings and gifts, but when they met within the space of the book, they became akin to each other by the will of the author. Their kinship lies in the secret of giving oneself in thought, clearly or implicitly living in the attraction of God. Philosophical portraits are not a sum of literary excursions, but a search for the theology of culture in faces.
