The anthology includes notes, essays, letters, fragments from diaries and memoirs, memoirs of Russian travelers, writers, artists, musicians, theatrical figures, scientists, diplomats of the XVII-XIX centuries, who brought official duties, human or creative curiosity to Spain or simply "Hunting to change places".
The book includes the texts of P. Potemkin, S. Rumyantseva, I. Aivazovsky, M. Glinka, V. Botkin, D. Grigorovich, A. Veselovsky, K. Kustodiev, S. Volkonsky, L. Mechnikov, I. Repin, V. Vereshchagin, V.
