The publication first introduces the history of the domestic economy through the prism of the publicists of the last two and a half centuries. Includes publicistic, poetic, epistolary heritage of 90 writers, sometimes a little-known to a wide reader. Economic, social, moral, religious and other aspects of national economy are presented. There are brief information about the life and work of the authors. More than 100 works of Russian painting, consonant with highlighting topics, are given.
