The monograph explores Russian symbolism for the first time as an independent philosophical school with a developed doctrine on personality. The actualization of this direction from the perspective of modern realities allows for a new look at the process of conceptual search for the elements of personal reality and to fill the semantic gaps at various levels of its understanding. Explicit in the philosophy of Russian symbolism, the theurgical, life-creating, sophiological, and biographical concepts gain relevance in contemporary personalistic discourse, as they touch upon the profound spiritual foundations of the coexistence of personality and society, issues of identity and self-realization. The author shows how the philosophy of theurgy, as presented by Russian symbolists, can be used as a method for forming a meta-system discipline - social aesthetics.
