The album presents in detail all the styles and directions of our visual art from Andrei Rublev to the XXI century.
For the publication, almost two and a half thousand works of four hundred wonderful Russian artists were selected.
This is really the most complete collection.
It includes not only works from the central Russian museums, but also little-known masterpieces from regional art galleries and private collections.
Text and signatures to the illustrations are given in three languages - Russian, English and German.
The book presents 2180 reproductions of paintings by Russian artists.
