The proposed book A.A. Nikolsky (1866-1915) is the first study of the philosophical and theological views of the Vl. Solovyov. She was written immediately after the death of the thinker and in 1902. Separate chapters were published in the Kharkov Orthodox magazine "Vera and Mesum". The author clearly and simply sets out the ideas and logic of the works of Vl. S. Solovyov - from the "crisis of Western philosophy" to the last articles on theoretical philosophy and "three conversations". Much attention is paid to the controversy, which was led from the VL. Solovyov Outstanding Russian philosophers and theologians - Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky), P.E. Astafyev, A.I.Vvedensky, N.N.Strakhov, B.N. Chicherin, etc.
