Russian nation, or a story about the history of its absence

The proposed book, which has become the end of many years of research by the author, is not another history of Russia. This is precisely the history of the Russian nation. Therefore, it is better to turn to the reader who thinks here elementary information about the domestic past, it is better to turn to other works, since there are many of them. Judging by the electronic catalog of the Russian State Library, in Russian there is not a single book with the name “History of the Russian Nation”. At first glance, this seems annoying absurdity, another sad illustration for Pushkinsky: We are lazy and unlimited. In fact, the logic of Russian history is behind this fact. For it is not by chance that domestic historiography prefers to describe the history of the Russian state, and not the history of the Russian people
