The manual is intended for working with foreign students who are starting under the leadership of the teacher to study Russian literature at the pre-sonological stage of training. It structurally includes review articles on the stages of the development of the literary process, literary educational texts, verses, passages from prosaic works. When adapting passages, the style and linguistic features of the authors are preserved. The manual is equipped with the continuous tasks aimed at working with vocabulary, thoughtful reading of texts. The hurdles of the tasks are aimed at the development of orientation skills in the text structure, the search for meanings, mastering individual techniques of literary analysis. Materials allowances are translated into three languages: Chinese, English and German.
