The textbook is addressed to children for whom the Russian language is not native. The purpose of this manual is the help of non -Russian -language children (inophores) in mastering the program in the Russian language and preparing for the study of other subjects in a comprehensive school (level A1) The manual is aimed at the phased development of the basic grammar of the Russian language, the active development of reading, speech and writing skills. The materials of the learning are widely known classical artistic texts, riddles, proverbs and texts of academic subjects. The manual is formed and adjusted by the active dictionary of students in various thematic groups of vocabulary. The basic principle of the organization of lessons is the relationship of the study of grammar and vocabulary. At the same time, a variety of grammatical exercises in the manual are often served in the form of dialogs and game tasks, combined with work on the picture, painting or drawing, which stimulates the student’s speech activity and helps to create a living and creative atmosphere in the lesson. The book has a pronounced communicative orientation. The manual implemented the principle of taking into account the linguistic -based specifics of learning, work is underway to prevent errors that arise under the influence of the native language. Country materials of the manual are selected taking into account the tasks of the sociocultural adaptation of foreign children and their integration into the new cultural and social environment. The proposed accompanying course for the discipline "Russian language" can be used as additional educational material in a comprehensive school, as well as an independent course in the system of additional education, in "Russian language schools", for working with children and adults in language courses and in specialized language camps
