The course of lectures was created on the basis of the state educational standard, taking into account the requirements of the training of non-humanitarian specialists. It consists of five sections: language as a means of communication, literary language and speech culture, culture of scientific speech, culture of official-business speech, the basics of rhetorical art. The course not only gives theoretical knowledge, but also teaches to apply them in the practical activity of the student at the university, and also helps the development of the professional competence of the future specialist.
