The collective monograph was created in the framework of the International Scientific Project, supported by the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation, around a little study problem - the mutual influence of modern Russian, as well as some other languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries, and new information technologies. The authors are researchers from Russia, the Netherlands and Norway - show how new forms of social communication influence the language communities, as the Internet itself becomes a resource for learning a language, as interacting in the world wide web of majority and minoritarian languages.
