The textbook for the 6th grade is created in accordance with the Model Program for the subject "Russian Native Language" and is intended to accompany and support the main course of the Russian language, which is mandatory for study in all schools of the Russian Federation. The content of the textbook is aimed at fostering patriotism and respect for the Russian language as the basis of Russian culture and literature. Working with the textbook will allow students to expand their understanding of how Russian language reflects the history, material and spiritual culture of the Russian people, the Russian linguistic worldview, and the patterns and main trends in the development of the Russian language. Special attention is paid to the issues of forming students' speech culture in the modern language situation, including those related to communication in the internet space. It complies with the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education and is recommended by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
