The book contains the texts of the reports presented at the International Conference "Russian Intellectual Revolution of the 1910-1930s" (Moscow, Ranjigs, October 30-31, 2014), which studied the update of humanities in Russia in the first decades of the twentieth century. This intellectual revolution, which had a significant impact on the development of world humanitarian thought, included institutional, ideological, methodological aspects, developing new explanatory concepts and the design of new research facilities. The innovative ideas and methods created in revolutionary Russia were difficult, often conflict interacted with the traditional heritage of humanities and with the ideological apparatus of Soviet power. All these processes were interdisciplinary, manifested in philology, epistemology, literary and artistic criticism, etc. The conference was attended by specialists in intellectual history from Russia, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, the Czech Republic. She has become a continuation of conferences "Russian theory: 1920-1930 (2002) and" intellectual language of the era. History of ideas, the story of words" (2009)
