The present yearbook included texts of the eighth conference of the Russian Union of Germanists "Cultural codes in the language, literature and science", on which studies of domestic and foreign Germanists and linguists were presented. The Yearbook continues the publication of publications on the materials of conferences held within the framework of the RSG. The article included in the collection reflects the problems associated with the idea of considering objects and phenomena in terms of cultural codes. The collection materials give an idea of modern approaches, about the possibilities and prospects of studying the German language and German literature in their close relationship and interaction with cultural phenomena
