Russian fighters-fighters of the First World War

The book is devoted to the history of the emergence and formation of Russian fighter aircraft during the First World War. On the pages of the publication, the authors successfully revealed the prerequisites for a fierce confrontation for dominance in the air between Russian pilots, on the one hand, and the German and Austro-Hungarian pilots-on the other, whose peak came for the period 1915-1917. In parallel with the description of all the revealed facts of the air battles of the I World War, the book presents the history, organization and aviation weapons of Russian fighter aviation detachments, the task of which was the destruction of the enemy in the air. The history of each fighter air department is described in detail: the formation, military operations, victories and losses, personnel, materiel, as well as the biographies of aviators. The text of the book is accompanied by a variety of and unique illustrative row: tables, photographs of flight composition and aircraft, color projections of airplanes. In total, about 500 photos and drawings are published in the book.
