The dictionary is a set of etherologists covering the main vocabulary of the Russian language. Based on the achievements of modern philological science, it addresses the origin and history of Russian words, including a significant reservoir of personal names and geographical names, in the large amount of etymology of dialectical, ancient Russian and old-Russian vocabulary.
Material is located in alphabetical order. For each lexeme, it is indicated if there is necessity and possibilities - it is parallels in other Slavic and non-Slavic languages, as well as Praslavyansky or other Energy, with the presentation of information relating to its history and language changes, which was the result of which a given lexeme.
The 5th edition of the dictionary contains vocabulary from the Buba I to Vakstaf (more than 1,100 articles).
The dictionary is intended for readers interested in the history of the Russian language and its relationship with other languages of Eurasia
