The dictionary is an alphabetical dictionary of the etymology of Russian vocabulary, covering the main vocabulary of the Russian language. Based on the achievements of modern philological science, it addresses the origin and history of the dictionary formulation of the Russian language, including a significant reservoir of personal names and geographical names, the dialective, ancient and old-Russian vocabulary is involved in the large extent.
The material is located in the alphabetical order of the words under consideration. For each weed, the lexemes are indicated - if there is necessity and possibilities - it is parallels in other Slavic and non-Slavic languages, as well as Praslavyansky or other Energy, with the presentation of information relating to its history and language changes, which was the result of this lexeme.
The 3rd issue of the dictionary contains a vocabulary from Be to Bold (about 950 articles).
