French Slavist Pierre Pascal (1890-1983), Lieutenant during the First World War, after two injuries at the front ended in the Russian rear: in April 1916 he was appointed to the French military mission. And found himself in the most thick of stormy social processes, sharply experienced on the sixth of the sushi: the Russian Empire, without disassembling the paths, rapidly rushed to his destruction. Here he became an eyewitness of many signs for the domestic history and culture of events, reflecting them in dated records, subsequently decorated in the "Russian Diary"
