The book discusses the issues of astrological literature in Russia from the 11th to the first quarter of the 18th century. In the medieval period, astronomical and astrological knowledge developed in close contact. Astrological materials predominantly coexist and intertwine with calendrical ones. The study of ancient Russian scientific ideas is deepened through astrological texts. The conclusions of the monograph indicate a greater role of astrology in the history of Russian cultural and political processes than previously thought. The book is intended for medieval scholars, historians of science and culture, bibliographers, graduate students, and students.
