Russian artistic porcelain

The collection of the Russian porcelain of the Rybinsky Museum-Reserve has not only historical and local history value. On the one hand, this is a relatively small assembly of the provincial museum, on the other hand, it presents unique artistic samples of the Russian porcelain: products of the imperial plant, enterprises of Gardner, Popova, Battenina, Kornilov and other private porcelain manufactories, including the partnership of MS .Kuznetov ". In Rybinsky funds there are copyright, subscription and dated works, some items have analogies in meetings of other museums and are of great interest among researchers and connoisseurs of this type of decorative and applied art.
The purpose of this publication is to introduce a wide range of readers with the best examples of the Russian and Soviet porcelain from the collection of the Rybinsky Museum-Reserve, for which a small group of products of the XVIII-XX centuries was selected, illustrating the main periods of the history of domestic porcelain production. Many collections are published for the first time.
The edition of the album is timed to the 2010 anniversary events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Rybinsky Museum-Reserve
