The textbook 'Russia Opens the Russian Language and a Broad Panorama of the History and Culture of China' for Chinese speakers is part of the project 'Russian as a Language of International Communication' and is included as part of the International Project 'Global Culture', carried out under the leadership of the Working Group on Socio-Economic Design of the St. Petersburg Union of Scientists. The Project's motto: 'Russian culture is always turned towards the person. All the best works that have become classics reflected his inner world, searches, experiences, raised questions that concerned him, taught to think, evaluate, and draw conclusions, - President of the Russian Federation V. Putin'. The project was conceived by the author to expand the inclusion of the Russian language in international communication. The Russian language has situations in phonetics, grammar, and difficult-to-find lexical correspondences in translation that are hard to systematize. Foreign students need to be shown the valuable cultural space that the Russian language holds. Therefore, the textbook has an educational cultural part: it briefly introduces the geography of Russia, history, Russian-Chinese relations, Russian scientists, Russian literature, music, painting, and of course, the wonderful Russian songs that are sung all over the world.
