The aim of this study is a dialectical reconstruction of the history of Russia in the 20th century, starting with the catastrophe that befell the Russian Empire, and ending with the catastrophe that befell the Soviet Union.
In the general introduction to the book and in its first part (Based on Hegel), the procedure of materialistic interpretation of Hegelian dialectics is reproduced (in a condensed form), that is, what is called understanding, which includes both understanding itself and its unconditional reproduction.
In the second part (Russian intelligentsia), the transformation of Russia into a 'gringo' chimera (L. Gumilev) or (the same thing) a 'two-story' Russia (P. Shonyu) and the relationship between its main actors: autocracy, its 'cadres' (intelligentsia), and peasantry (people), which ended in the annihilation of the Russian Empire, are traced.
In the third part (Socialism, capitalism, and democracy), the general course of events is reproduced, leading from totemic socialism to capitalism as an endless accumulation of capital, in other words - the species suicide of Homo sapiens.
